BARCLAYS CITROEN APPOINT NEW MANAGER

Steve Bell has joined Barclays Citroen on Manchester Road, Warrington as Sales Manager. His appointment comes at a time when Citroen, which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2009 with a rebrand starting with the chevron icon and following a less mass-market approach, introduces a slew of new cars. Marketed as the DS line, the new cars are unveiled with the imminent launch of the DS3 with further new models being presented about every 6 months over the next 3 years.

This new brand development at Citroen is well suited to Steve's wealth of experience of prestige high volume sales; recently as General Sales Manager at Manchester Audi and prior to that as Used Car Sales Manager at Williams BMW in Manchester which is one of the UK's largest used car retailers pushing out units in excess of 1,000 per annum.

Steve has also worked at Smith Knight Fay on their Toyota, VW and Audi franchises and he is now looking forward to working with the long established Warrington dealer. Of his appointment Steve said, "I have long been impressed with the structure at Barclays Citroen and the company’s ability to respond rapidly to market changes along with their used car volume ambitions."

When he's not working with cars, his interests extend upwards to the skies as he flies light aircraft and micro lights at Flying Instructor Level. Cooking and travel are two of his other passions.
